February 7, 2017 /MM-prReach/ —

Caldera Spas of New Mexico, a hot tub and portable spa dealer serving South Valley and Albuquerque, NM offers tips for making this year a healthy one.

Tom Gervais of Caldera Spas said, “The majority of people make resolutions for the New Year to improve their life somehow. Yet most goals are quickly discarded, usually before Valentine’s Day.”

Here are three ways to make this year a healthy one, and make New Year’s resolutions that will last all year long.

Create a Place That Allows Healthy Relaxation at Home – Getting healthy is about more than just the body, it is also about the mind and spirit. The better a person feels emotionally and mentally, the more prepared they are to accomplish physical goals. Add a hot tub to the home to create a peaceful place to relax at the end of the day, and gather with family members in a fun and luxurious atmosphere.

Portable spas are perfect for even the smallest areas, and can be equipped with stereos and televisions for extra entertainment value. The best hot tubs are easy to use and install. Not only will they help everyone in the family enjoy their time at home, but they also provide physical health benefits too. Soaking in a warm hot tub before bed promotes better sleep, leaving people more prepared to work the following day.

Set a Goal that Can be Reached In Three Months – Big goals can be discouraging. Instead, set small mini-goals. Learn to be accepting when things don’t go smoothly. If something happens to derail a plan along the way, instead of working around it or brushing it off, people feel disappointed and give up. Accept that sometimes even the most diligent work will not be successful. Instead of allowing disappointment to discourage action, successful people shrug it off and keep doing their best.

Keep a Journal – Whatever the goal, keep a journal and write down what was frustrating, and what successes occurred. Both are a part of any journey toward a goal, and keeping a journal can help people understand what works to plan for success as the goal continues. It is also helpful to have the journal anytime discouragement sets in to provide a reminder of difficulties that were overcome.

Sales of winter products surge at convenience stores amid chilly weather

Sales of winter products surged at South Korean convenience stores as temperatures fell sharply this month, industry sources said Friday. According to retailers, sales of disposable hand warmers at GS25 convenience stores, operated by GS Retail Co., rose more than elevenfold in the first seven days of this month compared with the previous week. Sales of tights, worn to keep warm, increased by a similar margin. Demand for popular winter snacks and beverages, such as instant fish cakes, baked sweet potatoes and traditional tea, climbed 653 percent, 132 percent and 50.2 percent, respectively, over the period. CU convenience stores, operated by BGF Retail Co., reported a 400 percent increase in sales of disposable hand warmers over the same period. SK chief vows to speed up construction of new chip cluster in southwest

SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won said Friday his business group will make efforts to build a new semiconductor cluster in the southwestern part of the country as quickly as possible to meet growing global demand. Chey made the remarks during a visit to Gwangju Air Base in the southwestern Jeonnam-Gwangju region, where SK hynix Inc. has proposed building a new chip cluster. "Once the conditions are met, we plan to build (the new cluster) as quickly as possible," Chey said. "Demand for chips is growing rapidly, and the current situation requires us to accelerate the pace of supply to keep up with demand," he added. The chairman said the group still needs to determine when construction will begin but stressed that it intends to break ground as soon as possible. Chey noted that demand for chips is expected to grow significantly, adding that the proposed cluster will be around two-thirds the size of the one currently under construction in Yongin, just south of Seoul. It marked Chey's first visit to the region since the conglomerate unveiled its building plan in June. Earlier in the year, SK hynix
