María Paz Chamorro, Miss Teen Universo Colombia 2026, will represent Colombia at Miss Teen of the Universe 2026 in New Delhi, India, this November.
After earning the national title of Miss Teen Universo Colombia 2026, María Paz began preparing for the international competition.
Her artistic background includes singing and piano, alongside modeling, athletic training and content creation. Her academic background also includes studies in Switzerland.
For María Paz, the upcoming competition represents an opportunity to showcase Colombian talent while demonstrating the importance of discipline, preparation and cultural identity.
Her participation in India is expected to include official competition activities, media appearances, interviews and opportunities to connect with international audiences.
Young Women Empowered: A New Generation of Leadership
Alongside her international participation, María Paz is developing Young Women Empowered, an initiative designed to encourage girls and young women to strengthen their self-esteem, embrace their identity and navigate social pressures.
The project builds on Women Empowered, a movement founded by her mother, Zaidy Eliana Mora Quintero.
Through conversations, mentoring and collaboration with professionals, the initiative seeks to address issues such as insecurity, rejection, social comparison and emotional well-being.
