The announcement coincides with the latest study from the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), which found that massage therapy is becoming more and more popular across the country. According to its research, in 2021 46% of women and 23% of men got a massage at a spa.
With this in mind, A Better Body developed its latest therapeutic massages to suit a wide range of preferences.
A hot stone massage is beneficial for those with tension in the neck, shoulders, or back. During this treatment, warm massage stones are used to precisely target tight muscles. The heat, combined with the soothing movement, relaxes the muscles and relieves soreness.
Full-body massages can be arranged, or clients can book more focused sessions if they have specific areas of concern. Each session can be customized based on length, beginning at 30 minutes with up to 120-minute long sessions available.
Before each session, the massage therapist will talk to each individual and learn more about any areas of pain or discomfort they’re dealing with, as well as areas that should be avoided. Based on this, the massage therapist will tailor a therapeutic session to address pain points.
Any of the treatments can be upgraded with additional enhancements, with options ranging from cupping to aromatherapy, hot towel sequences, and exfoliating foot scrubs. Eco-fin hand treatment and eco-fin foot treatment are also provided on request.
