UpsideOnly Helps Traders Start Trading Without Risking Real Money

Oct 9, 2026

UpsideOnly has opened its paper trading platform to new traders worldwide. Members place simulated trades with a $100,000 virtual balance, and eligible top performers share in half of the profits the company's machine learning models earn with company capital.

United States, October 9, 2026 -- UpsideOnly announced that its platform for paper trading with real payouts is open to beginners and experienced traders worldwide. Paper trading means placing simulated trades with virtual money against live market prices. Each new account starts with a $100,000 virtual balance, and members can trade across 25 global markets covering stocks, indices, commodities, forex (foreign currency exchange) and crypto. The company opened the platform for people who want to learn how markets move and build a trading record without risking real money.

UpsideOnly treats member trades as signals. Its machine learning models filter the trading activity of the whole community, and the company commits its own capital to the strongest signals the models find. UpsideOnly distributes 50% of the profit from winning company trades to eligible top-performing users. Only eligible users receive a payout. Members do not fund a trading account, and no member money enters a position at any point.

Sign-up takes an email address and a password, or one click through Google, Apple, Facebook or X. UpsideOnly asks for no documents at registration and no prior trading experience. Members can place market orders, limit orders, stop losses and take profits. A stop loss closes a position when the price moves against it to a set level, and a take profit closes a position once it reaches a target gain. UpsideOnly validates these price levels in real time and blocks conflicting orders before submission. All open positions close after 48 hours, a rule that keeps the platform focused on short-term trading. An Education Hub for newer traders is in development.

Members can reset their virtual balance to $100,000 at any time. A reset clears pending payout eligibility, and payouts already earned stay with the member.

Members who want higher payouts can place a Participation Deposit, a refundable amount between $1 and $500. The deposit helps UpsideOnly keep bots out of the payout pool. A larger deposit tier raises a member's Priority Multiplier, a weighting that increases the share of any payout for the same performance rank. UpsideOnly does not trade participation deposit funds or put them at risk, and members can withdraw a deposit on demand under the platform's terms of service.

UpsideOnly runs a light identity check, known as KYC or Know Your Customer verification, before it releases a payout. The check keeps funds away from sanctioned regions. The minimum withdrawal is $1, and bank transfers take up to 7 business days depending on the member's bank. Traders can find details on competitions and payout opportunities at upsideonly.com.

The launch comes as retail money continues to move into volatile crypto pairs and prediction market contracts, which pay out based on the outcome of real-world events. In both markets, a wrong call costs the trader real capital. UpsideOnly, a risk-free paper trading platform, lets people trade global markets without risking their own money. Traders who want access to crypto price action, commodity swings, forex pairs or index moves can build a track record on UpsideOnly and qualify for real payouts, with the company absorbing every dollar of downside.

AI labs are chasing a slice of the corporate pie in Southeast Asia

I’ve worked a lot with the Microsoft stack, and for a long time Excel was its staple. It gave Microsoft a foothold inside companies. Once a company ran its budgets, forecasts and operations in Excel, Microsoft could sell a lot of other products around it. It became embedded in the organisation. And after decades of […] The post AI labs are chasing a slice of the corporate pie in Southeast Asia appeared first on e27.

The US-headquartered company says it passed US$10 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) this year and is profitable, having grown almost entirely from revenue after raising only a small angel round. Together, they address SEA’s challenges: high infrastructure costs, limited banking reach, and volatility in local currencies. Are you leading with people? Or are you leading with tech?

Are you leading with people? Or are you leading with tech?

There’s a fundamental question that most leaders are avoiding right now, not because it’s too hard, but because the answer is uncomfortable. If you don’t understand where scarcity lives in the current economy, and you keep focusing on supplying more into markets with less demand or that are already overcrowded, you’ve forgotten Economics 101. Scarcity […] The post Are you leading with people? Or are you leading with tech? appeared first on e27.

ASEAN’s startup ecosystem is entering its accountability phase

Every mature startup ecosystem has eventually faced a period the venture community refers to, after the fact and usually with discomfort, as its accountability phase. The United States went through one in the early 2000s, after Enron, WorldCom, and the broader dot-com governance cleanup. China went through one in the late 2010s, when Luckin Coffee […] The post ASEAN’s startup ecosystem is entering its accountability phase appeared first on e27.
