Texas Residential Treatment for Adolescent Boys: Rehabilitation Program Expands

Sep 23, 2026

Clearfork Academy (888) 430-5149 has expanded its residential treatment program for teenage boys in Fort Worth, Texas, adding capacity for adolescents dealing with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions through trauma-informed, faith-centered care.

Fort Worth, United States, September 23, 2026 /PressCable/ -- Clearfork Academy has announced an expansion of its residential treatment program for adolescent males at its Fort Worth ranch campus, opening additional capacity for boys navigating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

More information is available at https://clearforkacademy.com/treatment-programs/adolescent-males/

The expansion comes as substance use among adolescents remains a documented concern across Texas. According to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration's 2022-2023 National Survey on Drug Use and Health, 6.1 percent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 in Texas reported using illicit drugs in the past month at the time of the survey. Clearfork Academy's residential program is designed to address this need, offering dual-diagnosis treatment that gives Texas boys access to addiction and mental health care close to home.

The treatment program centers on a 13-week residential stay at the campus, where boys live in a structured, family-style setting built around daily routines of recovery, education, and community.

Clinical teams design individualized treatment plans that combine cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and EMDR to address substance use alongside conditions such as trauma, self-harm, suicidal ideation, disordered eating, and personality disorders. An outdoor adventure program is woven into the clinical schedule to support engagement and physical well-being alongside therapy.

The program is built on a faith-centered clinical model that draws on narrative, trauma-focused, and solution-focused therapies tailored specifically to adolescent boys. Family involvement remains central to treatment, with relatives taking part in family therapy sessions throughout their son's stay.

Boys enrolled in the program continue their education through an on-site learning center, individualized to each student's needs, so schoolwork proceeds without interruption during treatment.

The program's continuum of care includes medically supervised detox for teens beginning treatment, along with intensive outpatient and virtual programs for step-down support once residential care ends. An alumni program also connects graduates with ongoing peer support after they return home.

To help more families access the program, Clearfork Academy accepts a range of insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, United Healthcare, Tricare, Magellan Health, and Baylor Scott & White Health Plan.

'AI artists' perform improvised jazz at Jarasum Jazz Festival

Artificial intelligence (AI) models developed by a research team led by Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) professor Nam Ju-han made their debut at one of Korea’s leading jazz festivals, performing improvised jazz alongside human artists. According to the university Friday, the team showcased human-AI music collaboration technology that analyzes the flow of human performances in real time, allowing AI to take over performances or generate improvised accompaniment, during the 23rd Jarasum Jazz Festival, held in Gapyeong County, Gyeonggi Province, from Oct. 9 to 11. A total of 12 human jazz artists participated in the event, collaborating with AI in 26 pieces across 12 performances. The technology is different from existing music AI services as it enables collaboration with human musicians in jazz, a genre characterized by improvisation. Jazz musicians often change the tempo or create new melodies based on how they feel in the moment. Because the same piece can be performed differently each time, musicians must listen to one another and adjust their playing accord

DEFA cuts the cost of entry. Your architecture sets the cost of scale

Sit in the architecture review of almost any platform that has reached four ASEAN markets and the same diagram appears. One product on top. Underneath, four data stores, four payment integrations, four know-your-customer flows (the identity checks that onboard each user), and four sets of legal entities and directors. Why Indonesian fintech’s ASEAN expansion cost more than anyone priced in

Indonesian fintech expansion into ASEAN looks different in 2026 than it did when Investree opened its Thailand operations in 2018 and its Philippines unit shortly after. The cohort of Indonesian platforms that pushed beyond the domestic market between 2018 and 2022 (Investree, Modalku, several payment players, a handful of insurtechs) encountered a structural cost that […] The post Why Indonesian fintech’s ASEAN expansion cost more than anyone priced in appeared first on e27.

[INTERVIEW] Alaska Airlines eyes Asia expansion as Korea route gains traction

SEATTLE — Alaska Airlines is looking to expand its presence in Asia as its Incheon-Seattle route gains traction, with Korea emerging as a key market in the U.S. carrier’s expanding international network. The airline recorded load factors of 82 percent in June, 84 percent in July and 79 percent in August on the route, marking a strong start in its first full year of operations. The figures exceeded expectations for a new route, which typically takes about three years to mature as the airline adjusts schedules and connections to meet passenger demand. "Those are really good, strong load factors for the first year of a new route," Shane Tackett, president and chief financial officer of Alaska Airlines, said in an interview with The Korea Times on Sept. 29. He added that one month ranked among Alaska's best-performing international routes financially before fuel prices increased significantly. The airline sees further opportunities to attract passengers from Korea, where its brand remains relatively unfamiliar. Tackett said Alaska Airlines aims to raise awareness of its services and enco
