AltCoin IRA Review, a popular online resource for retirement planning, has launched a new report on the importance of diversification, and how to start a self-directed gold Roth IRA.

Cushing,United States - October 25, 2022 /PressCable/ —

Between 2008 and 2013, the number of Gold IRA accounts in the USA increased by nearly 500%, and while the growth has slowed in recent years, there are still more Americans than ever investing in this particular type of savings account. AltCoin IRA Review has launched a new in-depth report that explains the benefits, drawbacks, and options for opening a self-directed Roth Gold IRA.

More information about precious metals investing, retirement planning, and Gold IRA accounts can be found in the full report at https://altcoinirareview.com/how-to-start-a-self-directed-gold-roth-ira-steps-to-invest-online-in-a-gold-ira

The new report covers the various types of savings accounts, how precious metal IRAs work, and step-by-step instructions for opening a new account. It explains the differences between several types of IRAs offered by the IRS, as well as how each type of account is set up, taxed, and regulated.

While there are many reasons to diversify a retirement portfolio, precious metal IRAs are most often used as a hedge against geopolitical turmoil, market volatility, and inflation. A spokesperson for the IRS explained: “Gold investments are generally considered safe havens because they do not lose value like many stocks or bonds. This makes gold a great way to protect yourself against inflation and economic instability.”

In their new report, retirement experts explain how to choose the right type of savings account based on how contributions will be made, how long it will be before they are withdrawn, and the most cost-effective accounts based on their fee and tax structures.

There is also a section of the report that explains how much of a portfolio should be invested in precious metals, which will vary based on several factors, but most experts suggest it should not be more than 10%. While gold or silver is often the first precious metal considered by investors, the report also explains the benefits of platinum and palladium, and how investors can choose between bullion, coins, rounds, or bars.

A spokesperson said, “Metals that are precious IRAs are becoming more popular with Americans who want ways to broaden their portfolio of retirement assets. They have a number of benefits over conventional IRAs. One of them is that you won’t be required to pay tax on the gains until you cash out the money.”

What changed when I stopped sending newsletters manually

Before I used Mailchimp, my monthly newsletter was one of those tasks I kept postponing. Not because it was complicated. Because it was annoying. I was running a small business, which meant the newsletter was always competing with more urgent things. Customer messages, fulfilment, invoices, product updates, random admin. By the time I got to […] The post What changed when I stopped sending newsletters manually appeared first on e27.

Carro turns Singapore car loans into a US$350M funding pipeline in a regional first

In Singapore, a car is less a vehicle than a ten-year licence wrapped in steel. Carro now wants institutional money to treat that licence as collateral. The Singapore-headquartered automotive marketplace has set up a S$450 million (about US$350 million) asset-backed securitisation facility backed by Singapore car loan receivables. In a statement on Thursday, Carro called […] The post Carro turns Singapore car loans into a US$350M funding pipeline in a regional first appeared first on e27.

Male founders are losing confidence. Women are doubling down on AI

HSBC’s latest survey of wealthy entrepreneurs contains an awkward finding for the men who still write most of the cheques. Their own confidence is slipping, while the confidence of the women they rarely fund is rising. The Global Entrepreneurial Wealth Report 2026 polled more than 3,000 business owners across 17 markets. Over the past year, […] The post Male founders are losing confidence. Women are doubling down on AI appeared first on e27.

The working capital trap: Lessons from Indonesia’s first D2C generation

Indonesia’s D2C and inventory-heavy startup sector looks different in 2026 than it did before 2022. The cohort of platforms that scaled between 2018 and 2021 (Fabelio in furniture, several in F&B, fashion, and household goods) encountered a category of operational risk that the original venture playbook tended to underestimate. Some platforms have stabilised. Several have […] The post The working capital trap: Lessons from Indonesia’s first D2C generation appeared first on e27.

China's humanoids go job hunting amid Korea's bets on physical AI

Chinese humanoid robot makers are accelerating efforts to gain a foothold in Korea, moving beyond dance performances and showroom displays to factory trials and other commercial applications as Seoul beefs up investment in physical artificial intelligence (AI). A string of Chinese robotics companies have flexed their muscles or announced projects in the country this year, including Hong Kong-listed Ubtech, startup Anyverse Dynamics, Shanghai-based Agibot and leading robot maker Unitree. “China’s new generation of robot companies has global DNA and naturally looks overseas, and Korea is one of the most important markets in Asia-Pacific,” said Ethan Qi, an associate director covering robotics at Counterpoint Research. The absence of locally built humanoids available at scale has created an opening for Chinese suppliers, he added. Early footprint Representatives of Galaxy Robot Park, a robot-themed entertainment venue in Seoul, agreed to buy Ubtech’s lifelike U1 model after attending its debut in Shenzhen in June, according to Sean Qin, overseas head of the company's commercial robo

Chung Mong-Koo Foundation's pianists sweep international awards

Three young Korean pianists — supported by Hyundai Motor Chung Mong-Koo Foundation — have earned international recognition this year, winning top prizes at major competitions in Europe and the United States. Shin Young-ho, 19, placed second in the piano category at the 76th Giovanni Battista Viotti International Music Competition, which concluded in Vercelli, Italy, on Oct. 17. Lee Jeong-woo, 18, won first prize at the 20th George Enescu International Competition in Bucharest, Romania, in September, while Lee Ju-eon, 15, claimed prizes at three international piano competitions in the United States during the first half of the year. The achievements highlight the progress of a new generation of pianists who have received sustained support from the foundation, as they pursue international careers. Shin continued his strong performance on the international competition circuit, following a second-place finish at the Dublin International Piano Competition and a special prize at the Pancho Vladigerov International Piano Competition, both held in 2025.
