Congress Realty releases a Scottsdale pricing report comparing its $299-$499 flat fee MLS packages to traditional agent commissions, highlighting potential savings for homeowners selling in Scottsdale's housing market.

Scottsdale, United States, October 1, 2026 /PressCable/ -- Congress Realty has published a pricing report comparing its Scottsdale flat fee MLS packages, priced from $299 to $499 upfront, against the costs typically charged by traditional commission-based agents. The report gives local homeowners a direct side-by-side reference for evaluating how much they might keep from a home sale under each approach.

Commission structure remains one of the largest factors shaping a seller's net proceeds. According to Clever Real Estate's August 2026 survey of agents, the average total real estate commission in Arizona is about 5.71% of the sale price, with roughly 2.88% typically going to the listing agent alone. In Scottsdale specifically, per-side commissions typically range from 2.5% to 3%, bringing the combined total to 5% or 6% of a home's sale price.
Flat fee MLS listings offer sellers an alternative to that percentage-based model: instead of paying a commission tied to the final sale price, sellers pay a fixed amount to appear on the local MLS, and the listing is then syndicated to Zillow, Realtor.com, and Trulia, with sellers retaining control over pricing, buyer negotiations, and showing schedules throughout the process.
The report's Scottsdale example illustrates the potential gap between the two models. Based on Scottsdale's August 2026 median sale price of $906,900, the company reports that its $299 Basic plan could save a seller approximately $25,820 compared with an estimated 2.88% traditional listing-side commission, before accounting for buyer-agent compensation and standard closing costs.
Congress Realty's Scottsdale packages span from the $299 Basic plan to options priced up to $499 upfront, covering varying levels of marketing support and listing features. For sellers who want more hands-on assistance, Congress Realty provides a Full Service option priced at $399 plus 0.5% of the sale price due at closing, the company reports.
Beyond pricing comparisons, the report addresses optional fees, Scottsdale-specific cost scenarios, and the expenses sellers should expect to cover regardless of which path they choose, while also outlining considerations for selecting the plan that best matches a seller's needs, from basic MLS exposure to added support during negotiations and closing.
Congress Realty has worked to replace commission-based selling with a flat-fee structure that keeps pricing clear from the outset, and the newly released report extends that approach to Scottsdale, giving homeowners a documented point of comparison before they decide how to list their property.

South Korea launched its homegrown Nuri rocket Wednesday on its fifth flight to place 15 satellites into orbit, including five that will form part of the country's first domestically launched microsatellite constellation. The 200-ton Nuri blasted off from the Naro Space Center in Goheung, about 400 kilometers southwest of Seoul, at 12:25 p.m. The payload consists of five New-space Earth Observation Satellite Constellation for National Safety (NEONSAT) microsatellites and 10 CubeSats. Nuri's first and second stages will separate about 123 and 268 seconds after liftoff, respectively, with satellite deployment beginning between 810 and 960 seconds at an altitude of around 575 kilometers. The five NEONSATs, Nos. 2 through 6, will be deployed at intervals of 35 to 40 seconds, with Nuri's upper stage rotating by about 45 degrees between each separation to prevent collisions. The 10 CubeSats will then be deployed two at a time at 10-second intervals. After releasing all 15 satellites, Nuri will perform a collision-avoidance maneuver and vent its remaining fuel, completing its flight about 20 min
For the past two years, the story engineering teams told about AI was simple: it writes code faster, so teams ship faster. That story is only half true. Code does get written faster. But Google’s 2025 DORA report, based on analysis of over 1,100 open-ended responses from Google software engineers, found that higher AI adoption […] The post The new engineering bottleneck isn’t writing code, it’s trusting it appeared first on e27.
Bitcoin traded in a narrow band near US$85,400 to US$85,550 during early October 7, 2026. Live aggregator readings clustered around US$85,435 to US$85,542. Asia’s AI founders are increasingly facing a split-screen reality. Investor interest is high, but building at the frontier of artificial intelligence still requires more than a seed cheque. Startups need access to large models, cloud infrastructure, technical feedback, distribution channels and patient capital, all while competing with better-funded peers in the US and China. For much of the past three decades, American companies operating overseas benefited from a powerful assumption: that despite periodic political turbulence at home, the United States (US) remained a predictable and broadly reliable commercial partner. That assumption has been badly tested. Korea's homegrown Nuri rocket is set for its fifth launch Wednesday, carrying 15 satellites, including five that will form part of the country's first domestically launched microsatellite constellation. The three-stage rocket is scheduled to lift off from the Naro Space Center in Goheung, about 400 kilometers south of Seoul, at 12:25 p.m., Oh Tae-seok, administrator of the Korea AeroSpace Administration (KASA), said. Oh said the rocket is technically ready for launch, with weather and space conditions also favorable and no concerns over potential collisions with space objects, allowing the launch to proceed as scheduled. The payload consists of five New-space Earth Observation Satellite Constellation for National Safety (NEONSAT) microsatellites and 10 CubeSats. About four hours before liftoff, the launch team will begin filling the three-stage rocket with kerosene fuel and liquid oxygen oxidizer after completing system checks. Nuri's first and second stages will separate about 123 and 268 seconds after liftoff, respectively, with satellite deployment beginning between 810 and 960 seconds
