Get to know Plastic Surgeon Dr. Leland H. Webb, who serves patients throughout the State of Arizona.
New York City, New York Jun 2, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - A skilled plastic surgeon, Dr. Webb is the Founder and Owner of Webb Plastic Surgery, a cosmetic and reconstructive surgery practice dedicated to meeting the goals of their patients in the greater Phoenix area.
The doctor has a longstanding history of integrity, service, and devotion to everything he does, both in his life and career. From earning the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America as a teen to currently serving in the Arizona Air National Guard as a Lieutenant Colonel, he continues to strive for excellence in all he does.
Before devoting all of his time to his private practice, he served in the United States Air Force for 17 years. While serving the country, he earned the health professions scholarship for medical school, attended the Wayne State University School of Medicine, and was subsequently promoted to captain when he went on to his general surgery training at Vanderbilt University.
Dr. Webb served as both the general and trauma surgeon at Yokota Air Base in Japan and was part of the Pacific Command Mobile Forward Surgical Team, which could be dispatched at a moment's notice for specialized surgical missions -- including providing surgical coverage for the President of the United States. After his promotion to the rank of Major, he went on to train at the Mayo Clinic, where he specialized in plastic surgery.
Upon completing his training, he was assigned to Travis Air Force Base in California - the largest Air Force hospital in the world - where he worked as a Reconstructive and Plastic Surgeon while earning the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. As part of his professional military education, he attended the Air War College to advance his leadership skills, graduating with an outstanding record -- the highest distinction possible.
A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), the doctor is board-certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). The mission of the ABPS is to promote safe, ethical, and efficacious plastic surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification, and continuous certification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists.
Moreover, he is board-certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery (ABS). The ABS is an independent, non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded for the purpose of certifying surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge.
With a passion for teaching, Dr. Webb maintains academic appointments at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and the University of Arizona. When he is not helping patients, he enjoys teaching residents and collaborating with peers and other leading plastic surgeons.
Plastic surgery is a surgical specialty involving the restoration, reconstruction, or alteration of the human body. It can be divided into two main categories - reconstructive surgery and cosmetic surgery. A plastic surgeon's primary responsibility is to perform surgical and non-surgical procedures, and they use a variety of reparative and reconstructive techniques to get the job done.
In addition to being a plastic surgeon, Dr. Webb loves being a husband to his college sweetheart and a father to his two children. He enjoys everything competitive and continues this drive-through cycling and obstacle course racing.

Securing equipment for manufacturing advanced memory chips is emerging as a new variable in Korea's plans to expand semiconductor production capacity through large-scale industrial clusters, after ASML, the dominant supplier of advanced chipmaking equipment, warned that its current production plans may not be sufficient to meet demand in 2027 and 2028. During its earnings call Wednesday, ASML CEO Christophe Fouquet said the company's plans to increase its production capacity for advanced chipmaking equipment by 30 percent in 2027 and another 30 percent in 2028 would likely not be enough to meet customer demand. “Last quarter, we talked about 30 percent more capacity next year, and also the aspiration to have another 30 percent increase in 2028,” Fouquet said. “But to be honest, it's becoming very clear that 30 percent in 2027, 30 percent in 2028 will not allow us to meet our customer demand.” According to the company, the planned capacity increases cover both low-numerical-aperture extreme ultraviolet (low-NA EUV) lithography equipment and deep ultraviolet (DUV) immersion system

Musinsa opened the doors to ZOZOTOWN in Musinsa, the Japanese platform’s first official pop-up store in Korea, to the media on Friday. The pop-up will run through Oct. 31, while an accompanying online promotion will continue until Nov. 16. Launched in 2004, ZOZOTOWN features more than 11,000 brands and serving over 13 million customers annually. Fifteen Japanese fashion brands available on the platform, including Snidel and Grancy, are participating in the event. The pop-up’s concept, ZOZO is Coming to Town, draws inspiration from Korean streets. Crosswalks, road markings and oversized three-dimensional typography have been incorporated into the space to create the impression of an intersection where Korean and Japanese fashion meet. The pop-up follows the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two platforms in December 2024 to establish a strategic partnership. In November last y
