Get to know Internist Dr. Jasper I. Ngomba, who serves patients in North Attleboro, Massachusetts.

New York City, New York Jul 21, 2023 (Issuewire.com) - A board-certified internist, Dr. Ngomba is the Founder, President & CEO of TELLinMedicine, LLC in North Attleboro, Massachusetts.

"Our goal is to take access to health care and health education beyond policy and beyond borders. That's why we offer physician home visits and world telemedicine. Being able to have a relationship with a primary care physician and access to preventive medicine regardless of your mobility or geographic location, means you can spend more time preventing illness rather than treating an illness after it occurs. After all, prevention is the best medicine" as stated on the practice's website.

With a philosophy of care "Access to Health is Access to Wealth", Dr. Ngomba wants patients to take ownership of their health, which is why he aims to empower them with education and knowledge about lifestyle changes that can make a real difference in their health, well-being, and longevity. He is also a hospitalist physician with New England Inpatient Specialists at Lowell General Hospital.

Beginning his career in healthcare as a nurse, Dr. Ngomba completed his undergraduate nursing degree in 1995 and pre-med studies at the University of Massachusetts in Boston in 1997. He then continued his medical education at St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, earning his medical degree in 2005.

Prior to starting his residency at Berkshire Medical Center, Dr. Ngomba worked as a critical care travel nurse for several years at various hospitals throughout Massachusetts and one year in Ontario, Canada where he was exposed to flight nursing and TeleMedicine.

For two years, he practiced as an internist in a group practice in Newport, Rhode Island. After seeing a need for a more cost-effective healthcare delivery model, including home-based care and telemedicine, Dr. Ngomba relocated to the Massachusetts area where he founded TellinMedicine, LLC in 2012.

Board-certified in internal medicine, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists. They manage and prevent common and complex diseases by providing comprehensive care and promoting overall well-being.

On a more personal note, Dr. Ngomba speaks English and Yoruba.

Seoul AI startup secures prized gateway to US market via New York program

A Seoul-based AI startup has joined a prestigious New York City commercialization program, opening a rare doorway to test its products with American companies and court global investors. NextPayments was the only Korean company among 14 startups selected for NYC AI Nexus, a program organized by the New York City Economic Development Corp., from more than 200 applicants worldwide, the Seoul Metropolitan Government said Tuesday. Beginning in November, NextPayments plans to conduct pilot projects with local companies, focusing on retail and food service, to test its technology and assess demand in the U.S. market. The company develops AI platforms that integrate data from offline businesses, including orders, payments, products, staffing, logistics and customer behavior, into a unified system. Through the yearlong program, selected startups receive local office space, strategic advice, introductions to potential business partners, help with proof-of-concept projects, expert consultations and assistance in attracting investment. KAMCO broadens cooperation with Asian markets on bad loan management

The Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO) is expanding its cooperation with Asian financial authorities, drawing on nearly three decades of experience managing nonperforming loans (NPL) to help countries strengthen their financial systems, the state-run agency said Monday. Vietnam offers a clear example of that approach. In April, KAMCO signed a consulting agreement worth around $400,000 with the Asian Development Bank to help establish a legal framework for asset-backed securities (ABS) in the country. Over the next 25 months, the agency is set to assess Vietnam’s financial and legal environment, recommend regulatory improvements and help develop guidelines for issuing ABS. The project will also include training programs to strengthen local expertise. KAMCO is working to improve the infrastructure for actual transactions as well. In a consortium with Shinhan DS, it is undertaking a 2.5 billion won ($1.86 million) project to upgrade the Vietnam Asset Management Company’s online platform for NPL trading. The agency is also extending its work beyond individual markets through a br

Shinhan becomes 1st Korean financial group to establish holding company in Indonesia

Shinhan Financial Group has officially launched Shinhan Financial Group Indonesia, becoming the first Korean financial group to establish a local financial holding company in the Southeast Asian country, the company said Tuesday. The launch ceremony was held in Jakarta on Monday, attended by Shinhan Financial Group Chairman Jin Ok-dong and local financial authorities. The new structure places Shinhan Indonesia Bank at the center of the group's Indonesian operations, with the bank taking on the additional role of a holding company overseeing its local card and securities businesses. The restructuring follows the Indonesian government's announcement requiring financial groups to establish holding companies in December 2024. Shinhan began reorganizing its local governance structure in response to the requirement and received approval from Indonesian financial authorities in September 2025. The transition was completed on Sept. 16 following the transfer of stakes in the group's local affiliates, according to the company. Under the new structure, Shinhan Indonesia Bank acquired additional stak

Lexus Korea unveils 1st all-electric ES sedan

Lexus Korea has launched its first all-electric ES sedan, expanding the luxury carmaker’s electrification strategy beyond its established hybrid lineup, as it moves to strengthen its position in the increasingly competitive electric vehicle (EV) market, the company said Tuesday. The eighth-generation All-New ES lineup comprises the ES 350e and ES 500e EVs alongside the ES 350h hybrid, offering customers a choice between fully electric and hybrid powertrains. The launch carries strategic significance for Lexus, which has built its reputation in Korea largely on hybrid vehicles. While the Japanese luxury brand is well established in the premium hybrid sedan segment, it has been a latecomer to the all-electric market. “EVs are not a sudden move for Lexus Korea,” Lexus Korea CEO Manabu Konoyama told reporters during a media event. “Rather, they represent the next step, built on the experience and expertise we have accumulated through our hybrid vehicles.” The ES 350e, the entry-level electric model, starts at 71.6 million won ($53,500) and offers a driving range of 478 kilometers on

What is work worth when thought is metered?

Your organisation buys human intelligence by the hour and machine intelligence by the million tokens. Only one of those prices is falling fast, and most management systems, from the timesheet to the pricing model, are still built around the other. I have spent my career applying technology to improve productivity and offset inflationary costs, and […] The post What is work worth when thought is metered? appeared first on e27.

NEU Battery Materials bags US$7.6M to mine lithium from the world’s least-loved battery

Lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries have an awkward reputation among recyclers: they are everywhere, and they are worth very little once they die. Unlike the nickel- and cobalt-rich chemistries that recyclers have chased for a decade, a spent LFP cell offers no precious-metal jackpot. It holds lithium, iron and phosphate, and two of those are […] The post NEU Battery Materials bags US$7.6M to mine lithium from the world’s least-loved battery appeared first on e27.

Social impact is easy to pitch and hard to prove: 17 SEA startups taking the harder route

“Social impact” is one of the most overused phrases in a Southeast Asian pitch deck. Founders apply the label to themselves, and in a funding winter it gets stretched to cover almost anything with a farmer, a recycling bin or an “underserved” customer in the slide. So we went looking for startups that do more […] The post Social impact is easy to pitch and hard to prove: 17 SEA startups taking the harder route appeared first on e27.

US-China trade is entering an era of managed rivalry. Southeast Asian businesses should prepare for it

The most important change in US-China trade this year is not another tariff headline. It is the emergence of a more managed, transactional relationship between the world’s two largest economies. President Donald Trump’s May state visit to Beijing produced exactly that kind of arrangement. Washington and Beijing established new Boards of Trade and Investment, China […] The post US-China trade is entering an era of managed rivalry. Everyone is talking about AI adoption. But are enterprises actually ready for it?

A company can have hundreds of employees using ChatGPT, Copilot, or other AI tools every day, and still not be an AI-ready organisation. This may sound contradictory, but it is becoming increasingly common. Employees are experimenting with AI. Teams are building copilots. Companies are running pilots. Some are even putting AI into production. Yet ask […] The post Everyone is talking about AI adoption. But are enterprises actually ready for it? appeared first on e27.
