Pressure BioSciences (OTCQB: PBIO) (“PBI”) is a leader in the development and sale of broadly enabling, pressure-based instruments, consumables and specialty process development and production services to the worldwide cosmetics, nutraceuticals, biotherapeutics, food/beverage, and other industries. The company today confirmed that initial results from its first stage of product development under PBI’s August 2022 collaboration agreement with Dr. Denese SkinScience have greatly exceeded all expectations. “We were extremely pleased with the results so quickly measured and reported by Adrienne Denese’s team on the quality and potency of our UltraShear-nanoemulsified retinoate as an anti-aging serum for skin tightening and wrinkle reduction,” said Richard T. Schumacher, president and CEO of PBI. “We were further delighted to learn that she is immediately advancing into human clinical trials. We expect to have the clinical trial materials prepared within 30-45 days, and the trials completed within a few months. With expected successful results, we anticipate that commercial sales of Dr. Denese SkinScience next generation, UltraShear nanoemulsion-enabled products could commence and generate significant revenues for PBI in the second quarter of 2023, following closely after our revenues from multiple nano-CBD oral and topical products begin ramping in the first quarter of 2023.”

About Pressure BioSciences Inc.
Pressure BioSciences is a leader in the development and sale of innovative, broadly enabling, pressure-based solutions for the worldwide life sciences and other industries. Its products are based on the unique properties of both constant (i.e., static) and alternating (i.e., pressure cycling technology, or “PCT”) hydrostatic pressure. PCT is a patented enabling technology platform that uses alternating cycles of hydrostatic pressure between ambient and ultra-high levels to control bio-molecular interactions safely and reproducibly (e.g., cell lysis, biomolecule extraction). Pressure BioSciences’ primary focus is the development of PCT-based products for biomarker and target discovery, drug design and development, biotherapeutics characterization and quality control, soil and plant biology, forensics, and counter-bioterror applications. Additionally, major new market opportunities have emerged in the use of its pressure-based technologies in the following areas: (1) patented technology from BaroFold Inc. (the BaroFold technology) that allows entry into the bio-pharma contract services sector, and (2) recently-patented, scalable, high-efficiency, pressure-based Ultra Shear Technology (“UST”) platform to (i) create stable nanoemulsions of otherwise immiscible fluids (e.g., oils and water) and to (ii) prepare higher quality, homogenized, extended shelf-life or room temperature stable low-acid liquid foods that cannot be effectively preserved using existing non-thermal technologies. HD Hyundai Heavy Industries has signed a contract to build an offshore substation for a wind farm in waters off Taean, South Chungcheong Province, as it expands its presence in the offshore wind market. The company announced on Friday that it recently signed a contract with Taean Wind Power to carry out the engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation and commissioning of an offshore substation for the wind farm. Taean Wind Power is a joint venture between Singapore-based renewable energy company Vena Energy, Danish investment and development firm Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) and state-run Korea Western Power. An offshore substation is a key facility that transmits electricity generated by turbines at an offshore wind farm to shore. The offshore substation to be built in Taean will step up the voltage of electricity generated by a 500-megawatt wind farm before transmitting the power to shore. HD Hyundai Heavy Industries secured the project through a series of agreements, signing a front-end engineering design contract in March, followed by a preferred supplier agreement
Genetically modified organism (GMO) components were detected in 99.3 percent of U.S. soybean import cases tested over the past decade, trade data showed Friday, raising calls for Korea to diversify its soybean import sources. According to Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corp. data submitted to Rep. Song Ok-joo of the Democratic Party of Korea, Korea imported 1.6 million tons of U.S. soybeans between 2017 and September 2026, accounting for 91.5 percent of its total soybean imports during the period. GMO components were detected in 399 of 402 U.S. soybean import cases, or 99.3 percent. Canadian soybeans were imported in 45 shipments totaling 29,469 tons, with GMO components detected in 57.8 percent of the cases. In contrast, no GMO components were detected in soybeans imported from China or Russia. Chinese soybeans totaled 112,124 tons in 18 shipments, accounting for 6.4 percent of total imports, while Russian soybeans totaled 7,870 tons across five shipments. The data came amid recent controversies over GMO detection in soybean-based foods such as tofu, soy milk and fermented soybean pa
