As soon as possible following a personal injury accident, please contact the Law Offices of Max G. Arnold in Chico, California. The attorneys there would like to be walked through the accident and know about the injuries that were suffered because of the incident. Arnold, Esq. has over thirty years of experience handling personal injury and he knows how to manage the insurance companies on an individual’s behalf in order to get the compensation deserved for pain and suffering. The attorneys at the Law Offices of Max G. Arnold urge those injured to get in touch with them today because each claim is governed by a statute of limitations, which in turn is controlled by a number of factors. The statute of limitations dictates the amount of time one has between the time the injuries were sustained and when the legal claim is to be made. If one fails to submit his or her case within the allotted timeframe, the right to compensation may be lost for all time. Please allow the team of experienced attorneys at the Law Offices of Max G. Arnold to take care of the insurance companies and stop any letters or calls from causing frustration or other unpleasant feelings. The attorneys at the Law Offices of Max G. Arnold handle a variety of personal injury cases, such as hit-and-run cases. More often than someone might expect, people flee the scene of an accident. Perhaps he or she was intoxicated and wanted to avoid the troubles that would cause for them. Most people who leave the scene of an accident get caught, and once this happens, their victims have an easier time in the legal system. If a person was hurt in a hit-and-run, he or she is legally entitled to punitive damages, which do not include the cost of injuries. The attorneys at the Law Offices of Max G. Arnold can use this as a bargaining agent to get that person the settlement deserved.

Another type of case that the attorneys at the Law Offices of Max G. Arnold specialize in are those involving drunk driving. They know how to utilize legal tools to benefit victims to the fullest extent. One such tool is the availability of punitive damages in drunk driving cases, which, as aforementioned, is a driving power towards receiving an appropriate settlement. Should the case go to trial, judges and jurors are likely to be unsympathetic to the defendant. Please call the Law Offices of Max G. Arnold to secure representation that knows how to best work these advantages.

A third category of personal injury that the attorneys at the Law Offices of Max G. Arnold handle are those suffered as a result of a person texting while operating an automobile. Research indicates that texting as one drives is as dangerous as driving while under the influence. Despite all the publicity warning of the dangers, people continue to text and drive. The attorneys at the Law Offices of Max G. Arnold are experts at proving that the other party was texting behind the wheel and assessing the impact that fact will have upon an injury claim.

In addition to these three examples of personal injury cases, the attorneys at the Law Offices of Max G. Arnold also represent those who have been hurt in pedestrian accidents, car accidents, dog bite accidents, bicycle accidents, wrongful death situations, bus accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, slip-and-fall accidents, boating accidents, property owner negligence cases and other types of cases. HD Hyundai Heavy Industries wins contract for 500-MW offshore substation in Taean

HD Hyundai Heavy Industries has signed a contract to build an offshore substation for a wind farm in waters off Taean, South Chungcheong Province, as it expands its presence in the offshore wind market. The company announced on Friday that it recently signed a contract with Taean Wind Power to carry out the engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation and commissioning of an offshore substation for the wind farm. Taean Wind Power is a joint venture between Singapore-based renewable energy company Vena Energy, Danish investment and development firm Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) and state-run Korea Western Power. An offshore substation is a key facility that transmits electricity generated by turbines at an offshore wind farm to shore. The offshore substation to be built in Taean will step up the voltage of electricity generated by a 500-megawatt wind farm before transmitting the power to shore. HD Hyundai Heavy Industries secured the project through a series of agreements, signing a front-end engineering design contract in March, followed by a preferred supplier agreement

99.3% of soybeans imported from US test positive for genetic modification

Genetically modified organism (GMO) components were detected in 99.3 percent of U.S. soybean import cases tested over the past decade, trade data showed Friday, raising calls for Korea to diversify its soybean import sources. According to Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corp. data submitted to Rep. GMO components were detected in 399 of 402 U.S. soybean import cases, or 99.3 percent. Canadian soybeans were imported in 45 shipments totaling 29,469 tons, with GMO components detected in 57.8 percent of the cases. In contrast, no GMO components were detected in soybeans imported from China or Russia. Chinese soybeans totaled 112,124 tons in 18 shipments, accounting for 6.4 percent of total imports, while Russian soybeans totaled 7,870 tons across five shipments. The data came amid recent controversies over GMO detection in soybean-based foods such as tofu, soy milk and fermented soybean pa

Upbit adds AI tools that explain crypto price moves

Dunamu, the operator of Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchange Upbit, said Friday that it expanded its artificial intelligence (AI)-powered market analytics platform with real-time tools that summarize broad market trends and pinpoint the reasons behind price movements for individual digital assets. Upbit Data Lab, launched in April 2025, is the exchange's analytics platform offering crypto indexes, sector data and blockchain analysis. The new "AI Market Report" is a video of 90 seconds or less that draws on the Upbit composite index, major asset prices, top gainers and losers, and market sentiment indicators, with AI selecting key issues based on price moves and market impact. It is released at 10 a.m. on weekdays on Upbit Data Lab and Upbit's official YouTube channel. A second new service, "Uptrace," tracks price data and related news for individual assets to identify the main factors behind price changes. Users can click diamond-shaped icons on an asset's chart to see the AI analysis and related news for that point in time. Dunamu also reorganized its existing "AI News Briefing" in
