Creatrix Solutions has published a homeowner guide to incandescent infrared sauna bulbs, covering bulb construction, voltage and fixture compatibility, replacement timing, electricity use, operating distance, maintenance and safety.

Kennewick, United States, September 17, 2026 /PressCable/ -- Creatrix Solutions has published a homeowner buying guide to incandescent infrared sauna bulbs, covering how the bulb is built, how to match voltage and fixture, when to replace a set, what the lamp costs to run, and how an incandescent bulb differs from a far infrared panel or an LED array. The guide is available through the company’s Sauna Resource Center and focuses on the 250-watt red-tinted heat lamp used in its Sauna Fix® near infrared fixtures.
More details can be found at https://creatrixsolutions.com/products/infrared-sauna-bulbs
According to the guide, the bulb is a tungsten filament sealed in red-tinted glass. When energized, the heated filament produces a continuous output that begins around 550 nanometers in visible amber, runs through visible red and near infrared, and extends into mid and far infrared, where most of the energy is delivered as radiant heat. Light and heat come from the same component, with no circuit boards or driver electronics at the bulb.
Voltage matching is the guide’s first purchasing rule. Bulbs rated at 120 volts are intended for 120-volt systems common in North America, while 240-volt bulbs are intended for systems operating at roughly 220 to 240 volts, including many installations in Europe, the United Kingdom and Australia. The guide states plainly that the two must never be mixed, since a bulb built for the wrong voltage underperforms or fails early, and it recommends checking the rating printed on the existing bulb or fixture before ordering a replacement set.
Fixture compatibility involves more than whether a bulb screws into the socket. The guide recommends verifying the system voltage, bulb voltage, socket type, bulb wattage, fixture wattage rating, enclosure construction, protective guard and the thermal tolerance of surrounding materials as one system, since a 250-watt heat lamp runs far hotter than a household bulb.
On replacement, the guide lists the clear signs: a bulb that no longer lights, flickers persistently or has a loose or separating base, and any crack or chip in the glass, which should never be heated again. A subtler sign is gradual fade as the filament ages, when a session feels cooler at the same distance and settings. The guide recommends replacing bulbs as a matched set of four so the fixture heats evenly, and keeping a spare set on hand.
“A lot of the wear people notice isn’t the bulb burning out; it’s a session that just feels less intense than it used to,” a Creatrix Solutions spokesperson said in the guide. “Rotating in a full matched set at that point, rather than one bulb at a time, is what actually brings the heat back to where it should be.”
The guide also covers operating cost and position. A four-bulb fixture carries a rated load of about 1,000 watts, so it draws roughly one kilowatt-hour for each hour of operation at full load, with the actual cost depending on local electricity rates. Users typically sit 18 to 30 inches from the bulbs, and because radiant intensity falls quickly with distance, the guide advises using the fixture as designed rather than moving closer to add heat. How spectrum, intensity, distance and enclosure combine into a session is explained at https://creatrixsolutions.com/products/sauna-thermal-dose
Because incandescent filaments are vulnerable to vibration and shock, especially when hot, the guide recommends keeping guards on during use, moving the fixture gently, letting bulbs cool before transport, and screwing bulbs in snug but never forced. It lists the standing precautions: guards in place, eye protection during lamp sessions, and combustible materials kept away from hot bulbs.
The guide closes by contrasting the three technologies sold as infrared. An incandescent bulb gives light and radiant heat from one glowing part. A far infrared panel is a heating element sealed behind a fascia that produces long-wavelength warmth with no visible glow. An LED array is a set of diodes on circuit boards emitting narrow bands with very little heat. Creatrix Solutions notes that its lamp fixture carries a lifetime warranty while the bulbs are the renewable part, sold as a 120-volt North American set or a 240-volt international set. The material is educational and is not medical advice.

Securing equipment for manufacturing advanced memory chips is emerging as a new variable in Korea's plans to expand semiconductor production capacity through large-scale industrial clusters, after ASML, the dominant supplier of advanced chipmaking equipment, warned that its current production plans may not be sufficient to meet demand in 2027 and 2028. During its earnings call Wednesday, ASML CEO Christophe Fouquet said the company's plans to increase its production capacity for advanced chipmaking equipment by 30 percent in 2027 and another 30 percent in 2028 would likely not be enough to meet customer demand. “Last quarter, we talked about 30 percent more capacity next year, and also the aspiration to have another 30 percent increase in 2028,” Fouquet said. “But to be honest, it's becoming very clear that 30 percent in 2027, 30 percent in 2028 will not allow us to meet our customer demand.” According to the company, the planned capacity increases cover both low-numerical-aperture extreme ultraviolet (low-NA EUV) lithography equipment and deep ultraviolet (DUV) immersion system
Fashion platform Musinsa has teamed up with ZOZOTOWN, one of Japan's leading online fashion retailers, to open a pop-up store in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, a popular destination for young consumers. Musinsa opened the doors to ZOZOTOWN in Musinsa, the Japanese platform’s first official pop-up store in Korea, to the media on Friday. The pop-up will run through Oct. 31, while an accompanying online promotion will continue until Nov. 16. Launched in 2004, ZOZOTOWN features more than 11,000 brands and serving over 13 million customers annually. Fifteen Japanese fashion brands available on the platform, including Snidel and Grancy, are participating in the event. The pop-up’s concept, ZOZO is Coming to Town, draws inspiration from Korean streets. Crosswalks, road markings and oversized three-dimensional typography have been incorporated into the space to create the impression of an intersection where Korean and Japanese fashion meet. The pop-up follows the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two platforms in December 2024 to establish a strategic partnership. In November last y
