Triton Thermal has announced that its Atlas One platform uses single-phase immersion cooling to remove the thermal ceiling on air-cooled AI racks, allowing accelerators to hold full performance at much higher rack densities.

Houston, United States, October 2, 2026 /NewsNetwork/ -- Triton Thermal, a Houston-based provider of liquid cooling engineering and services for data centers, has announced its Atlas One platform that uses single-phase immersion cooling to remove the thermal ceiling that limits air-cooled AI infrastructure. The approach allows GPUs and other accelerators to hold full performance at much higher rack densities than air cooling can support.

Rack power has climbed sharply with each generation of AI hardware. According to a July 2024 analysis by SemiAnalysis, the newer rack models require approximately 120 kW, compared with about 40 kW for the higher-density air-cooled H100 racks that preceded them. This is putting a greater emphasis on sourcing alternative cooling options, explains Triton Thermal.
The company also notes that air cooling stops working at roughly 40 to 50 kW per rack, and the constraint is airflow rather than heat tolerance, so a rack at that density needs up to 5,000 cubic feet per minute of air, more than fans and containment can practically deliver. When that limit is reached, accelerators do not fail outright. They throttle, lowering their own clock speeds to protect themselves, so the hardware keeps running but delivers less compute than was purchased.
Atlas One avoids this limit by submerging hardware in a dielectric fluid that stays in direct contact with every heat-generating component. Because cooling capacity depends on the fluid rather than on the volume of air a room can move, airflow no longer sets the ceiling, and accelerators can maintain sustained boost clocks rather than short-lived peak clocks that fall away as heat builds.
Its architecture avoids the field-built ductwork and airflow engineering that air cooling demands at scale. Triton Thermal describes its single-phase immersion systems as capable of supporting racks exceeding 100 kW and reducing cooling energy use by up to 50 percent compared with air cooling.
Atlas One sits within Triton Thermal's broader portfolio of data center cooling services, which covers assessment of existing facilities, design of new builds, vendor-neutral system selection, and ongoing support.

Across Southeast Asia’s technology hubs, engineering leaders are getting used to a new kind of productivity curve. In Singapore, Jakarta, Manila and Ho Chi Minh City, software teams are shipping faster, clearing backlogs more quickly and leaning on AI tools for work that once consumed hours of developer time. East Asia’s crypto market is no longer moving as one bloc. New regional data shows a fragmented landscape where South Korea is trading artificial intelligence-linked tokens at scale, Hong Kong is pulling in institutional capital, Japan’s retail users are quietly moving on-chain, and China’s stablecoin activity is expanding despite official restrictions. Most AI writing about work still treats the technology like an advanced tool. That framing made sense when AI mainly waited for a prompt, returned an answer, and stopped there. But that is no longer the whole picture. In more organisations, AI is starting to look less like software you use and more like a […] The post AI is starting to behave less like a tool and more like a teammate appeared first on e27.

Nearly one in five marketing leaders has already eliminated roles because automation now handles the work. That is the finding behind a new Gartner prediction, which Marketing Week reported this week: by 2030, most high-performing marketing teams will be able to drop the traditional bottom rungs of the corporate ladder. In 2021, I invested in one of the robotics startups that was solving for real world problems. The idea was to look beyond the screen and make every hardware talking through new robo technology. The artificial intelligence investment story is beginning to move beyond the most obvious winners. For much of the past three years, the market’s attention has centred on graphics processing units (GPUs), high-bandwidth memory and the companies supplying the raw compute needed to train large AI models. Southeast Asia has become one of the world’s most competitive regions for investment. Global companies are diversifying supply chains beyond China.
