Miami, Florida, United States, October 1, 2026 /MarketersMEDIA/ -- Fashion Magazine 24 (FM24) has announced its participation in the upcoming Miami Fashion Week (MIAFW) 2026, expanding its coverage with an on-the-ground editorial presence in Miami.
Taking place from October 13 through October 17, 2026, Miami Fashion Week will bring together designers, fashion professionals, media representatives, and guests for five days of runway presentations, industry conversations, and special events.
For Fashion Magazine 24, this will be the second consecutive year covering MIAFW — but the format of that coverage is changing significantly. In 2025, Fashion Magazine 24 covered Miami Fashion Week remotely, following collections, announcements, and key developments for its audience. For the 2026 edition, the publication is expanding that approach. Local journalists will cover Miami Fashion Week directly from Miami for Fashion Magazine 24, allowing the magazine to report from inside the city and provide a closer look at the people, collections, and conversations shaping the week. The publication is also strengthening the visual side of its coverage.

As part of that expansion, Fashion Magazine 24 has selected fashion photographer Kristina Voiloshnikova to photograph MIAFW 2026 for the publication. Her images will complement reporting by the magazine's local contributors and will be used in subsequent reviews and editorial materials on the Fashion Magazine 24 platform. Voiloshnikova is a fashion and street style photographer whose work focuses on natural movement, spontaneous moments, and details often missed in more conventional event photography. Her visual approach also incorporates distinctive post-production, which has become an important part of her photographic style. Her role at MIAFW will be focused on creating original visual material from the week, while the wider Fashion Magazine 24 team follows the event through reporting and editorial coverage.
Miami Fashion Week 2026 will unfold over five days, beginning on October 13. The week is scheduled to open with the MIAFW Gala, followed on October 14 by the MIAFW Summit, which brings an industry-focused dimension to the program through discussions around contemporary fashion and its future. The runway program will then take center stage from October 15 through October 17, with a series of presentations bringing designers and their latest collections before the Miami audience. The announced program includes international names representing the diverse identity closely associated with Miami Fashion Week. Karl Kani is scheduled to participate as a special guest, while the designer lineup includes Giannina Azar, Angel Sanchez, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Yas Gonzalez, Rene by RR, Adriana Cobo, Jenny Polanco, Marea Alta, Ojo De Leon, Renata Lozanc and Lisu Vega.
Beyond the runway, MIAFW's wider program is expected to include events bringing together different parts of the fashion community, including the Influencers Brunch, the MIAFW Gala and official Fashion Week gatherings. That combination of runway, industry discussion, and social events provides multiple perspectives on the week — and is one reason Fashion Magazine 24 is expanding its approach to coverage in 2026. For Fashion Magazine 24, the move from remote coverage in 2025 to an on-site editorial presence in 2026 represents a broader commitment to documenting Miami Fashion Week directly from the city.
Having local journalists at the event will allow the publication to move beyond summaries and announcements and capture observations, personalities and developments as they happen. Adding original photography gives that reporting another dimension. Rather than relying primarily on externally supplied imagery, FM24 can incorporate photographs created specifically for its own coverage. Bringing Kristina Voiloshnikova into the MIAFW project is part of that strategy. Her photography will provide the visual component alongside reporting from local contributors, with selected images expected to appear in Fashion Magazine 24's post-event reviews and editorial features.
Miami's position between the U.S., Latin American, and international creative communities has given its Fashion Week an identity distinct from traditional fashion capitals. For a publication covering international fashion, that makes the event relevant not only for the collections presented on the runway but also for the broader cultural environment developing around them. With MIAFW 2026 beginning October 13, Fashion Magazine 24 is preparing to cover that environment more directly than it did a year ago.
The publication's second year of Miami Fashion Week coverage will therefore mark a significant change: from following MIAFW remotely to having journalists and original photography on the ground in Miami, creating a more immediate record of the designers, collections, people and moments that define the 2026 edition.

The Nuri rocket successfully lifted off on its fifth launch and deployed 14 of the 15 satellites it carried into their target orbit Wednesday. The rocket lifted off from the second launch pad at the Naro Space Center in Goheung, Jeonnam-Gwangju Special Metropolitan City, at 12:25 p.m. and completed its roughly 20-minute flight at around 12:45 p.m. The rocket separated its first stage about two minutes after liftoff, followed by the second stage about four and a half minutes into the flight. At around 12:40 p.m., it reached an altitude of 570 kilometers and completed the sequential deployment of five NEONSAT swarm microsatellites (satellite No. 2 to 6), its primary payload, along with nine of the 10 CubeSats it carried. Initially, the Nuri sent signals indicating that all of the CubeSats had been successfully deployed. However, subsequent checks found that PERSAT02, developed by Quaternion, had failed to separate from the rocket. The flight ended at around 12:45 p.m. after the third stage completed its autopilot sequence. "The Nuri rocket successfully completed its planned fifth launch mis
Southeast Asia’s foodtech story was supposed to be about disruption: lab-grown shrimp on every plate, groceries at your door in 15 minutes, ghost kitchens replacing the corner restaurant. The reality has been humbler, and arguably more interesting. The 2022 correction thinned the herd, the eFishery scandal and TaniHub’s collapse left scars, and many of the […] The post Southeast Asia’s foodtech winners are the least glamorous ones appeared first on e27.
Some Japanese words resist translation. Take rōrō kaigo (老老介護). The character rō means “elderly”, and repeating it describes an elderly person caring for another elderly person, such as an 80-year-old husband looking after his equally frail wife on his own. That is the reality the word captures. Then there is the darker ninnin kaigo (認認介護). AI coding agents have moved quickly from novelty to daily tool inside Southeast Asian engineering teams. Across Singapore, Bangkok, Jakarta and Ho Chi Minh City, developers are no longer just asking AI to complete a line of code or explain an error message. KT&G Corp., Korea's dominant tobacco company, said Wednesday its second plant in Indonesia has begun operations as it expands its presence in Southeast Asia. The new plant is located in Pasuruan, East Java, while KT&G's first tobacco manufacturing plant in Indonesia is in Surabaya, the company said in a press release. The new Indonesian plant will serve as KT&G's manufacturing base in Southeast Asia, producing goods for export to neighboring countries and other markets, it said. The plant has an annual production capacity of 21 billion cigarettes, bringing KT&G's total production capacity in Indonesia to 35 billion cigarettes. KT&G operates tobacco plants in five countries — Korea, Russia, Turkey, Indonesia and Kazakhstan. The combined annual production capacity of its four overseas plants is expected to reach 65 billion cigarettes, the company said, without specifying when that target would be reached. KT&G's three domestic plants have a combined annual production capacity of 56 billion cigarettes. The company aims to generate half of its sales overseas in 2027. It is targeting sales of
For the past two years, the story engineering teams told about AI was simple: it writes code faster, so teams ship faster. That story is only half true. Code does get written faster. For much of the past three decades, American companies operating overseas benefited from a powerful assumption: that despite periodic political turbulence at home, the United States (US) remained a predictable and broadly reliable commercial partner. Korea's homegrown Nuri rocket is set for its fifth launch Wednesday, carrying 15 satellites, including five that will form part of the country's first domestically launched microsatellite constellation. The three-stage rocket is scheduled to lift off from the Naro Space Center in Goheung, about 400 kilometers south of Seoul, at 12:25 p.m., Oh Tae-seok, administrator of the Korea AeroSpace Administration (KASA), said. Oh said the rocket is technically ready for launch, with weather and space conditions also favorable and no concerns over potential collisions with space objects, allowing the launch to proceed as scheduled. The payload consists of five New-space Earth Observation Satellite Constellation for National Safety (NEONSAT) microsatellites and 10 CubeSats. About four hours before liftoff, the launch team will begin filling the three-stage rocket with kerosene fuel and liquid oxygen oxidizer after completing system checks. Nuri's first and second stages will separate about 123 and 268 seconds after liftoff, respectively, with satellite deployment beginning between 810 and 960 seconds
