The Experience Show Middle East Intelligence Report 2026 finds 76% of organisations investing in AI-powered CX. AI transformation and automation is the top contact challenge (64%), followed by real-time analytics, compliance and quality (48%).
Dubai, United Arab Emirates Oct 1, 2026 (Issuewire.com) - Customer experience transformation across the Middle East is entering a new phase, with organizations increasingly looking beyond individual AI tools and towards reshaping the technology infrastructure that underpins customer journeys, contact operations and service delivery.
This shift was highlighted at the ninth annual edition of The Experience Show Middle East 2026, held on 30 September-1 October at the JW Marriott Hotel Dubai Marina, where findings from the The Experience Show Middle East Intelligence Report 2026 revealed the scale and direction of technology investment taking place across the region.
The report found that 76% of organizations are upgrading their existing technology stacks with AI-powered customer experience capabilities, making it the most prominent area of planned investment. While Agentic AI follows closely, with 62% of organizations identifying it as an area of technology investment, chat and voice bots were cited by 38%, and 37% are reportedly upgrading contact center and Support technologies.
Rather than treating AI as a standalone layer, organizations are increasingly connecting it to the wider architecture of customer experience. 63% are using AI copilots and Agentic AI, while 53% are leveraging Voice of Customer analytics. Customer journey orchestration is being used by 47% of organizations, and 42% are adopting automation and workflow orchestration.
The transformation is particularly pronounced within customer contact. AI transformation and automation were identified as the biggest challenge facing customer contact by 64% of organizations, highlighting the operational scale of the shift. At the same time, 48% cited real-time analytics, compliance and quality management as key challenges, while 44% pointed to fragmented technology stacks. Omnichannel operations remain another significant issue, cited by 47% of organizations.
Behind these operational pressures sits a broader question around how organizations can translate technology investment into measurable customer and business value. Proving ROI and business impact is a priority for 58% of organizations, while 57% are grappling with how to use AI without damaging customer trust or service quality. A further 51% cite the complexity of managing journeys across digital and human touchpoints, while 48% are focused on moving from reactive support towards more proactive experience management.
"What we are seeing in the Middle East is a shift from adding new CX technologies to reconsidering how the entire technology ecosystem works together," said Ayusha Tyagi, Managing Director, Customer Experience Live. "AI, automation, journey orchestration, Voice of customer, and contact center technologies are increasingly interconnected. The opportunity for organizations is to build an ecosystem where these capabilities work together rather than creating another layer of complexity."
The Experience Show Middle East brought together senior leaders from leading organizations like First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), Emirates, Allianz, Aster DM Healthcare, ADNOC, Petroleum Development of Oman, AviLease, DP World, Talabat, Al-Futtaim, AW Rostamani, Samsung Electronics MENA, Schneider Electric, Unilever Gulf, DMCC, and Expo City Dubai. Across the two-day event, discussions focused on the practical transformation of customer operations--from deploying Agentic AI and intelligent automation to connecting customer data, orchestrating journeys, modernizing contact centers, and balancing intelligent technologies with human interaction.
The event also recognized the remarkable achievements of individuals and organizations that continue to raise the bar for CX through the Customer Experience Live Awards Middle East 2026. South Korea launched its homegrown Nuri rocket Wednesday on its fifth flight to place 15 satellites into orbit, including five that will form part of the country's first domestically launched microsatellite constellation. The 200-ton Nuri blasted off from the Naro Space Center in Goheung, about 400 kilometers southwest of Seoul, at 12:25 p.m. The payload consists of five New-space Earth Observation Satellite Constellation for National Safety (NEONSAT) microsatellites and 10 CubeSats. Nuri's first and second stages will separate about 123 and 268 seconds after liftoff, respectively, with satellite deployment beginning between 810 and 960 seconds at an altitude of around 575 kilometers. The five NEONSATs, Nos. 2 through 6, will be deployed at intervals of 35 to 40 seconds, with Nuri's upper stage rotating by about 45 degrees between each separation to prevent collisions. The 10 CubeSats will then be deployed two at a time at 10-second intervals. After releasing all 15 satellites, Nuri will perform a collision-avoidance maneuver and vent its remaining fuel, completing its flight about 20 min
For the past two years, the story engineering teams told about AI was simple: it writes code faster, so teams ship faster. That story is only half true. Code does get written faster. But Google’s 2025 DORA report, based on analysis of over 1,100 open-ended responses from Google software engineers, found that higher AI adoption […] The post The new engineering bottleneck isn’t writing code, it’s trusting it appeared first on e27.
Bitcoin traded in a narrow band near US$85,400 to US$85,550 during early October 7, 2026. Live aggregator readings clustered around US$85,435 to US$85,542. The 24-hour change settled at roughly -0.3 per cent to -0.5 per cent on most feeds, though one snapshot briefly showed a small positive. There were no sustained breakouts in either direction. Asia’s AI founders are increasingly facing a split-screen reality. Investor interest is high, but building at the frontier of artificial intelligence still requires more than a seed cheque. Startups need access to large models, cloud infrastructure, technical feedback, distribution channels and patient capital, all while competing with better-funded peers in the US and China. For much of the past three decades, American companies operating overseas benefited from a powerful assumption: that despite periodic political turbulence at home, the United States (US) remained a predictable and broadly reliable commercial partner. That assumption has been badly tested. Yet the latest phase of the US-European relationship is more complicated than a simple […] The post Europe’s trade truce with America has not restored trust in American business appeared first on e27.
Korea's homegrown Nuri rocket is set for its fifth launch Wednesday, carrying 15 satellites, including five that will form part of the country's first domestically launched microsatellite constellation. The three-stage rocket is scheduled to lift off from the Naro Space Center in Goheung, about 400 kilometers south of Seoul, at 12:25 p.m., Oh Tae-seok, administrator of the Korea AeroSpace Administration (KASA), said. Oh said the rocket is technically ready for launch, with weather and space conditions also favorable and no concerns over potential collisions with space objects, allowing the launch to proceed as scheduled. The payload consists of five New-space Earth Observation Satellite Constellation for National Safety (NEONSAT) microsatellites and 10 CubeSats. About four hours before liftoff, the launch team will begin filling the three-stage rocket with kerosene fuel and liquid oxygen oxidizer after completing system checks. Nuri's first and second stages will separate about 123 and 268 seconds after liftoff, respectively, with satellite deployment beginning between 810 and 960 seconds
Concierge medicine is expensive for a simple reason: physician attention is scarce. A typical primary-care doctor may be responsible for 2,000 or more patients, while concierge practices generally restrict panels to 400 or fewer to 600. Patients pay annual retainers ranging from a few thousand dollars to tens of thousands for longer appointments and faster […] The post AI could turn concierge medicine into the future interface to healthcare appeared first on e27.
Ask anyone to name Southeast Asia’s most successful startups and you will hear the same names. Grab. Sea. GoTo. Each is a consumer company.
