Custify Launches Custify Academy, an Online Customer Success Course With Certification

Oct 1, 2026

Customer Success Fundamentals, taught by Custify Head of Customer Success Irina Vatafu, turns the processes Custify's CS team runs every day into 9 video lessons, 9 quizzes and a verifiable certificate.

Romania, October 1, 2026 -- Custify, the AI-first customer success platform for B2B SaaS companies, today launched Custify Academy, an online learning program for customer success professionals. The first course, Customer Success Fundamentals, is open now at custify.com/academy.

The course teaches customer success the way Custify's own CS team practices it. Irina Vatafu, Head of Customer Success at Custify, leads the course and built it with four members of her team: Andreea Cheregi, Giorgiana Ianole, Loredana Lesnic and Theodora Caldare. Vatafu has spent 10 years in customer success and has managed 450 accounts and $10 million in annual recurring revenue.

"Customer success is not customer support, and it isn't the friendly check-in call either," said Irina Vatafu, Head of Customer Success at Custify. "The job is to get customers to a result they can measure. We built this course around that idea, with the same processes, terms and warning signs our team works with every day. Someone who finishes it knows what the job is and what to do first."

Two modules, one customer lifecycle

Module 1, Introduction to Customer Success, defines the role and separates it from the jobs it gets confused with. The lessons cover what customer success is and what it isn't, the customer success mindset, core terminology such as health score, Net Retention Rate and Gross Retention Rate, and how Customer Success, Support and Sales divide the work.

Module 2, Core CS Processes, follows the customer lifecycle in order: onboarding, adoption and value realization, renewals and expansions, risk management and churn management. Each lesson pairs the process with a worked example and the mistakes CS teams make most often.

How the course works

The course runs about 1.5 hours of video across 9 lessons. A four-question quiz follows every lesson, with a 75% pass mark and unlimited retakes. Each module comes with a downloadable resource guide. Students who complete every lesson and pass every quiz receive a customer success certificate with a public verification page they can add to their LinkedIn profile. The course is self-paced and in English, and access does not expire.

Customer Success Fundamentals is built for three groups: new customer success managers who want a structured start, support and account management professionals moving into CS, and CS leaders who need a shared foundation for their team and a resource for new hires. Companies can enroll several people at once, with team pricing on request and invoicing to the company.

"We build software for customer success teams, and a tool only helps a team that already agrees on what good looks like," said Philipp Wolf, CEO of Custify. "Custify Academy gives new CSMs, and the leaders who hire them, that shared starting point. It is the same knowledge our CS team uses with our own customers, now open to anyone in the profession."

Availability

The first lesson, "What Customer Success Is, and What It Isn't," is free to watch without an account. The full customer success course is available at custify.com/academy.

S. Korea's Nuri space rocket lifts off from Naro Space Center

South Korea launched its homegrown Nuri rocket Wednesday on its fifth flight to place 15 satellites into orbit, including five that will form part of the country's first domestically launched microsatellite constellation. The 200-ton Nuri blasted off from the Naro Space Center in Goheung, about 400 kilometers southwest of Seoul, at 12:25 p.m. The payload consists of five New-space Earth Observation Satellite Constellation for National Safety (NEONSAT) microsatellites and 10 CubeSats. Nuri's first and second stages will separate about 123 and 268 seconds after liftoff, respectively, with satellite deployment beginning between 810 and 960 seconds at an altitude of around 575 kilometers. The five NEONSATs, Nos. 2 through 6, will be deployed at intervals of 35 to 40 seconds, with Nuri's upper stage rotating by about 45 degrees between each separation to prevent collisions. The 10 CubeSats will then be deployed two at a time at 10-second intervals. After releasing all 15 satellites, Nuri will perform a collision-avoidance maneuver and vent its remaining fuel, completing its flight about 20 min

The new engineering bottleneck isn’t writing code, it’s trusting it

For the past two years, the story engineering teams told about AI was simple: it writes code faster, so teams ship faster. That story is only half true. Code does get written faster. But Google’s 2025 DORA report, based on analysis of over 1,100 open-ended responses from Google software engineers, found that higher AI adoption […] The post The new engineering bottleneck isn’t writing code, it’s trusting it appeared first on e27.

Light liquidations and flat funding: Is Bitcoin about to explode?

Bitcoin traded in a narrow band near US$85,400 to US$85,550 during early October 7, 2026. Live aggregator readings clustered around US$85,435 to US$85,542. The 24-hour change settled at roughly -0.3 per cent to -0.5 per cent on most feeds, though one snapshot briefly showed a small positive. There were no sustained breakouts in either direction. Granite Asia, Google AI Futures Fund team up to back Asia’s AI founders

Asia’s AI founders are increasingly facing a split-screen reality. Investor interest is high, but building at the frontier of artificial intelligence still requires more than a seed cheque. Startups need access to large models, cloud infrastructure, technical feedback, distribution channels and patient capital, all while competing with better-funded peers in the US and China. Granite […] The post Granite Asia, Google AI Futures Fund team up to back Asia’s AI founders appeared first on e27.

Europe’s trade truce with America has not restored trust in American business

For much of the past three decades, American companies operating overseas benefited from a powerful assumption: that despite periodic political turbulence at home, the United States (US) remained a predictable and broadly reliable commercial partner. That assumption has been badly tested. Yet the latest phase of the US-European relationship is more complicated than a simple […] The post Europe’s trade truce with America has not restored trust in American business appeared first on e27.

Nuri rocket set for 5th launch to place 15 satellites into orbit

Korea's homegrown Nuri rocket is set for its fifth launch Wednesday, carrying 15 satellites, including five that will form part of the country's first domestically launched microsatellite constellation. The three-stage rocket is scheduled to lift off from the Naro Space Center in Goheung, about 400 kilometers south of Seoul, at 12:25 p.m., Oh Tae-seok, administrator of the Korea AeroSpace Administration (KASA), said. Oh said the rocket is technically ready for launch, with weather and space conditions also favorable and no concerns over potential collisions with space objects, allowing the launch to proceed as scheduled. The payload consists of five New-space Earth Observation Satellite Constellation for National Safety (NEONSAT) microsatellites and 10 CubeSats. About four hours before liftoff, the launch team will begin filling the three-stage rocket with kerosene fuel and liquid oxygen oxidizer after completing system checks. Nuri's first and second stages will separate about 123 and 268 seconds after liftoff, respectively, with satellite deployment beginning between 810 and 960 seconds

AI could turn concierge medicine into the future interface to healthcare

Concierge medicine is expensive for a simple reason: physician attention is scarce. A typical primary-care doctor may be responsible for 2,000 or more patients, while concierge practices generally restrict panels to 400 or fewer to 600. Patients pay annual retainers ranging from a few thousand dollars to tens of thousands for longer appointments and faster […] The post AI could turn concierge medicine into the future interface to healthcare appeared first on e27.

Why Southeast Asia is underbuilt in the categories that produce its most durable companies

Ask anyone to name Southeast Asia’s most successful startups and you will hear the same names. Grab. Sea. GoTo. Each is a consumer company. Each won by reaching enormous numbers of users, burning enormous amounts of capital, and surviving long enough to consolidate a market. This is the story the region tells about itself. It […] The post Why Southeast Asia is underbuilt in the categories that produce its most durable companies appeared first on e27.
